How do I get my screenwriting read in front of the group?
Once you fill out our online sign up form, you will get an automated welcome email with our address and other details.
2.) Audit some meetings.
Attendance is always an issue so we tend to give open spots to people that display a desire and ability to be there every Tuesday night.
3.) Give great notes.
You don't have to speak up on your first visit but we want to know that you are knowledgeable and experienced in the art of screenwriting, and prepared to share that knowledge with the group on a regular basis. Getting great feedback for your work is why you are here, but giving great feedback is just as important.
4.) Submit a writing sample.
Typical submissions include:
1.) A short bio.
2.) A feature length comedy screenplay.
3.) Six log lines for future projects.
5.) Accept our invitation.
Once we like your work and are confident you are willing, able and excited to contribute to the group, we will put you on our regular five-week rotation.
6.) Pay your dues.
We have an easy subscription option on PayPal. All you have to do is set it and forget it.
